A is for Apple...

The WHOLE Apple. Griffin loves apples. Give him a cut up apple, he will not eat it. He wants the WHOLE apple and he will eat it to the core.

Snow Day

New Shoes

Griffin needed new shoes. For most this would be a very easy task, but not for Griffin. Griffin has very BIG, WIDE feet. The choices are very limited for him. Stride Rite is about all that he can fit his cubby feet into. Here are his new size 6.5 extra wide shoes.

February Vacation

February school vacation is coming to an end. Trevor and Nolan may not be thrilled, but I am. We had a good week. The boys had some playdates and we went to Chuck E Cheese (along with a million other people). Griffin went down a slide for the first time. He loved it.

Stylish? Up and Coming? Cutting edge? Trendy? Probably none of these things. If you know Nolan, you know it is JUST Nolan being Nolan. He loves to put crazy outfits on and parade around the house. It may not be what is popular but he is definitely one-of-a-kind.

Gone are the curls.

I took Griffin for a haircut (this is a big deal for me because I love the baby hair). I asked the hairdresser to trim it in the front and around the ears but NOT the back because I did not want to lose the curls. Griffin was not happy having his hair cut so I was trying to comfort him, therefore paying no attention the what the hairdresser was doing. The hairdresser either did not listen to a word I said or she too was very distracted by Griffin's crying. She CHOPPED his hair. Well gone are the curls... probably forever.

Happy Valentine's Day

Trevor made me a beautiful card. In the card, he thanked me for washing his clothes. It is great to know I am appreciated for all the LITTLE things I do. Happy Valentines Day!

Don't give up on your dreams.

Recently, Nolan was very upset about missing a college hockey game. Without Trevor and Nolan knowing, I stood at Nolan's door and this is what I observed:

Nolan had thrown his hockey shirt away saying, "My hockey career is over. I will never be a professional hockey player."

Trevor was taking the shirt out of the trash and laying it out nicely saying, "Nolan don't give up on your dreams. I know you will be famous one day. You will be a professional hockey player."

Meet Max Gava...

Trevor, Nolan and a neighborhood friend built an amazing snowman. The boys named him Max Gava. He stayed for a week before it got too warm for him. I was pretty impressed with the boys snowman making abilities.

Griffin is the Big, Big One!

Since I had planned on starting this blog with Griffins birth, it now seems appropriate to start with his first birthday. We recently celebrated my sweet baby's first birthday. He is walking everywhere. He weights 28 pounds and is 31 inches long (both the 98%). He is such a happy, easy-going little boy. Although I am sad my baby is one, I am excited to see the little boy he is becoming.

After many months of thought...

I have decided to finish creating my blog and start blogging. It has taken so long because I am not a great writer and I am definitely not witty, but that does not mean that I can not share my family with friends via a blog. So here it goes...
