First Day of School.

Trevor started 4th grade today. He was excited about starting school. He really likes his new teacher, mostly because she give the kids tickets that they can redeem for candy. I think there is a lot more he is going to like about her. I have heard she is wonderful and very creative. I think he was happy to see some of his friends that he has not seen all Summer. {His entire soccer team wore their team shirts for the first day. His coach should have known, this mother would not be happy... he was thrilled to get out of wearing a collared shirt.}

Nolan started 2nd grade. He is very apprehensive in new situations and the first day of school is no different. He was shy. He would barely look at his teacher and spoke to her in a whisper. I love his teacher. She is very kind and involved which will be great for Nolan. I know Nolan had a great day. He came running of the bus this afternoon smiling ear to ear. He went on and on about his friends and how nice his teacher is.

Griffin also started school today. He started at a new daycare. He did great. He had a lot of fun and even went down for his nap. It had to be a great day because he did not want to leave.

I am always so emotional on the first day of school. I have to say I did pretty good today... only shed a few tears.I know tomorrow I will be much better... it is so much easier sending your kids off when you know they are excited and are enjoying their school experiences. This is going to be a GREAT year!
