A Bushel and a Peck.

Today after soccer we went apple picking! Apple picking is one of my favorite Fall activities and today was a beautiful day. My sister is in town and has never been apple picking before. We told her how easy it was. She thought the apples would be out of reach but we told her that they are all on low branches. I had heard apple picking season started rather early this year but I had no idea how few apples there would be on the low branches. The boys and my sister had to climb up the trees to get our bags full. After finally climbing 50 trees and filling two large bags of apples, my sister said, "wow, I never knew apple picking was so much work".Today was the last day to apple pick at farm so it was definitely work to fill our bags. Anyhow, we had a great time and I got some cute pictures of the boys in the trees.

After apple picking, we went to our favorite Mexican restuarant. The boys needed to cool off with a tasty beverage at the bar. And Griffin had some important matters to handle over the phone. It was a great weekend filled with birthday celebrations, soccer games, apple picking and football (go Chargers!).
