Home for a Minute

I just returned from a very quick trip to California with my .mom and sister.  It was a very nice trip, but we did not get much sleep while we were out there.  We did get to see the sun and that was very nice!
Griffin looks so much more grown up then when I left.  I missed my boys terribly while I was away.
I am home for 2 days before Trevor and I pack up and head to Baltimore for the Odyssey of the Mind world finals.  I am very excited and very proud of Trevor!

This is what happens when you leave the house before the wee ones wake up.
They go to school mismatched.  Of course I was horrified and asked Rob how he could let him go to school like that.  His response... Griffin picked it!  Like father, like son.

My Little Slugger

Nolan is playing baseball and loving it.
He is really good and loves it as long as he does not get called out on first base when he believes he was safe.
He caught a ball and got someone out on first and he was so proud, he had to do a quick victory dance.
Way to go, Nolan!

If you give a girl a new pot.

If you give a girl a new pot, she will have to paint her front door to match.
If you give a girl a pot, she will have to trim the bushes to see the pot.
If you give a girl a pot, she will long for the day it is warm enough to fill (to have her mom fill) it with beautiful Spring flowers.
If you give a girl a pot, she will be so happy with the end results.

Fingers Crossed

I have my fingers crossed, a new potty and some bribes (to help the effort)!
He is very interested in the Skittles but wants very little to do with the potty.  So incredibly frustrating.  I keep reminding myself that it was the same for the big boys, too.  I also keep reminding myself that he will do it when he is ready and that he will not be going to school in diapers!

I think I should have got a few bottles of wine instead of the Skittles.  I think I need the treats more than he does!

Top 10, Vacation Recap (Part 4)

1.  Spending time with family.  I have said it before but I love my family.  I am so fortunate to have the family and friends (that are family).  Whether at home or in another country, spending time with family is my favorite thing!
