4.5

All I can say is how is this possible???
Griffin (my baby) is 4.5!  He is growing so fast and I love him more and more every single day.  I am so incredibly fortunate to spend my days with this sweet boy!

Olympics

I am so excited about the olympics.
I was looking forward to the opening ceremonies but I must say I thought it was weird.  There were parts I liked but overall, I was disappointed.

I most want to watch soccer (womans), swimming and gymnastics.  I have had difficulty figuring out the TV schedule.  I just downloaded the 2012 olympics app, so hopefully this will help.

Go USA!!!!

Sea Dogs

Yesterday the big boys, Rob and I went to the Sea Dogs game.
We had awesome seats.  The weather was perfect for a baseball game (no humidity :)).
Trevor spent the first inning working on a math equation in his head to figure out how long the game would last.  He enjoyed the game but always likes to compute something in his head.
In the 9th inning the Sea Dogs were down by 3 runs so Nolan put on his rally cap.  It helped some but not enough for the Sea Dogs to get the win.

After the game they had a great (and long) fireworks show.  I keep thinking it was going to be the finale but it just keep on going.

Bullets, no pictures

  • My camera is acting up. I keep getting an "Err 20" message. This is the reason this post will have no pictures :(
  • I came home from work to a lovely surprise yesterday. My mom replanted my front pots. They are beautiful and it made my day. Thanks, Mom.
  • Trevor just finished a week at robotics camp and Nolan did a week at rec camp. Nolan is super sunburned from spending the day at the beach.
  • I'm not sure what I will do if I have to send my camera in for repair. Guess I will have to use the iphone camera more.
  • We signed Nolan up for a hockey camp. This makes me very excited. I love to watch Nolan play hockey.
  • Griffin looks adorable today. So preppy! He wanted to wear a buckle (belt).
  •  I have been loving my Tervis cup. I use it all the time. Not sure what I did before I had it because I really can't imagine life without it.
  • It's a beautiful day today. I need to stop procrastinating and jump in the shower so I can enjoy the day (or mow the lawn, if Rob gets his way)

A Week at Camp

What is there to say, that has not been said every single year we go to camp?

It is always a little different but always amazing.
It is always relaxing.

It's always great visiting friends and family.
There are always incredible sunsets.

There is always fishing and swimming,

Boating and lobsters.
There is always one (or two) unexpected events. (This year a trip to urgent care for an ear infection Trevor was suffering from and CC fell off the ramp into the rocky water.  Fortunately, neither of these were serious and both Trevor and CC have recovered.)

We always play cribbage and the forehead game.

We smile, laugh and dance.

There is always sparklers and s'mores.
The days always go by too fast.
But most importantly,
There are memories to last a lifetime.

Love

My heart.

The Mantel

I am always at a loss with my mantel.  I like it but I think it needs something more, just not sure what it is.  Would love some suggestions on what to do.  This is how my mantel looks everyday.

This is my mantel decorated for Independence Day.

And here is where I posted my Christmas mantel.

Hot Weekend

We had a hot, hot, hot weekend.

The only way to beat the heat,
was to play in the
WATER!
The boy's spent the weekend
in their
makeshift
water park.
