The Happiest Place on Earth

Tomorrow starts our adventure
to the happiest place on earth.

The boys are beyond excited {like wake up at 5:30 in the morning excited}
and so are Rob and I.

See you in a week with a full recap of our week with Mickey and friends.

The days have been so crazy lately.

Between being a taxi for soccer practice and games to the demands of work this week...

things are so crazy.

I think I need a good vacation... good thing we are headed to the happiest place on earth in less than a week!  Wooohooo
The boys are all so excited.  Trevor is supper excited that we were selected to try out the new magic bands.  He loves technology and I must admit, I think it is pretty cool too.

So until we are at the airport, we will continue with our crazy schedule.  So looking forward only have to worry about what time our dinner reservation is.

Sometimes you just need to Cry and Happy Birthday Rob

I am down in the dumps.  What I love about the blog world is that you know you are not alone.  I read this post (she is much more eloquent with her words) and although I don't feel better it is nice to know everyone goes through this.

I thought a good cry would help but alas I am still sad. Anyways, I am sure (or I sure hope) that tomorrow is better.
What's even worse is that today is my husbands birthday. I should be happy and celebratory but I am not.  Sorry Rob!  The boys and I baked him a cake (at least I did that).  Happy Birthday, Rob!  I hope you enjoyed your day and when we celebrate this weekend, I promise will try to be in a better place.

All Grown Up

All grown up, but oh how I miss this sweet puppy.

Finally Griffin's Turn

Griffin has sat at countless soccer games played by "the brothers".
He has waited years to have his opportunity to play.
He has been wearing his cleats around the house since we bought them.

He has been asking for weeks if he gets to play soccer today.
And, today we could finally say yes.
Today, Griffin got suited up in his soccer gear and headed to the pitch bright and early

to practice with the Green Goblins.
It was everything he dreamed off and looks forward to next Saturday when he can play again.

Five on Friday

The count down is on. Nineteen days until we are at the happiest place on earth.  We are all so excited and can't wait!

Major annoyance, I had to have my phone restored to new because of a battery issue. It is unreal how much I rely on this phone. #firstworldproblems

Today Nolan was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease.  It is related to the growth plates in his knee.  It will be an issue until he is finished growing.  Hopefully it will not get worse and the Motrin and ice will continue to help.
I am so excited to be heading to camp tomorrow, even if it is only for 24 hours.  It will be a nice quick trip away.  I am always happy and relaxed there.
Griffin is loving kindergarten which makes me so happy. He has had a superhero day {the best on the teachers rating scale for behavior} each day this week.

Soccer Weekends

Soccer is back.  Between Trevor and Nolan, we had five games.
I love sitting sidelines at soccer.
I love watching the boys play.  It is fun
but I am not going to lie... this year I am torn.  I really miss camp and am sad that soccer is going to keep me away from there for the next several weeks.
I have missed this sweet face.  He went to spend the night with Nana and Papa.  He is my sidekick and I have missed having my buddy with me.

Well, guess what, I am off to the last soccer game of the weekend.  Hoping for a big win for Nolan and his team.

  • We spent another fabulous weekend at camp. I was so sad leaving this time because I am not sure when we will get back up there.
  • Soccer season has started, hence why we will not be at camp in the next few weeks.  I love sitting sidelines at soccer but would not mind having a few weekends off every now and then.
  • I love taking pictures and probably have the most difficult time getting a picture of Trevor. He is becoming such a handsome young man but, boy, when you bring the camera out he freezes.  I squealed in delight when I got this picture of my handsome blue eyed boy.
  • And Nolan... he is a ham for the camera.
  • I am so not ready for summer to be over, but I am trying to embrace that fall is coming.  Hard to ignore when apples are in the store, school is back in and soccer is our lives.
  • The count down is on for Disney.  T minus 27 days!  Wooohooo.
  • We went hiking again to a beautiful look out over our lake.  It is so breathtaking
  • And silly me thinking I could get a good picture of the boys at the top of the mountain.  First fail of many for my 2013 Christmas card.
  • I could jump for joy with how happy all three boys are with school thus far.  Three days in and all is great.  I think it is going to be a great year!
